Privacy Policy

The Astrex app for iPhone and Android and the website astrex.app are operated by AOORA APPS LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA ("we", "us"). We are the controller of your personal data.

• Account. Your email address, your language and, if you set one, a password, stored only as a one-way hash.
• Birth profiles. Names, dates, times and places of birth that you enter for yourself and for people you add, for example a partner. Only add someone else's data if you have the right to do so.
• Your content. Messages you write to the assistant, questions you ask the tarot and the compatibility calculations you request.
• Device. A push notification token, your device's operating system and the app version.
• Usage. Which features you use inside the app, for example opening a chart or a spread. We do not use advertising identifiers and do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
• Support. What you write to us when you contact support.
• Earlier web purchases. If you bought a subscription on our website before, we keep its status and the payment provider's reference. We never receive your full card number.

• To create your charts, compatibility, transits and daily advice and to show them to you.
• To generate the assistant's answers and tarot readings.
• To sign you in and keep your account secure.
• To send notifications you have turned on.
• To answer your support requests.
• To keep the app working, fix errors and improve features.
• To meet our legal obligations.

We process your data to provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract); with your consent for notifications, which you can withdraw in the app's settings or your phone's settings; on our legitimate interests in security, preventing abuse, improving the app and processing the birth data of people you add; and to meet legal obligations.

The assistant's answers and readings are generated by OpenAI on our behalf. We send only what is needed for the answer: your question, the chart data and the names you entered. OpenAI acts as our service provider and does not use data sent through its API to train its models. Please do not share health, financial or other sensitive information in your messages. The answers are for reflection and entertainment, not professional advice.

Only with service providers that work on our behalf:

• Hetzner Online — hosting of our servers and database, in data centers in several countries.
• OpenAI — generating the assistant's answers and readings.
• Resend — sending sign-in emails.
• Apple and Google — delivering push notifications and distributing the app.
• LiveAgent — handling support requests on the website.
• Stripe and Solidgate — processing payments for web subscriptions bought earlier.

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for advertising. There are no ads in the app. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA or the UK, we rely on adequacy decisions, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

We retain your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your profiles, compatibility results, assistant conversations, tarot questions and push tokens; remaining copies in backups are overwritten in the normal backup cycle. We retain payment and tax records for as long as the law requires.

You can access, correct and delete your data, ask us to restrict or stop processing, receive a copy of your data and withdraw consent at any time. Delete your account in the app (More → Settings → Delete account) or on the website, or write to support@astrex.app; we answer within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you can also complain to your local supervisory authority.

We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA. You have the right to know what we collect, to delete it and to correct it, and we will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Astrex is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

Data travels over encrypted connections. Your sign-in token is stored in your phone's secure storage, and access to our systems is limited to the people who need it.

If we change this policy, we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app or by email.
